I mean how hard is it to just twist the dialogue slightly and make it funny? Easy right? But these guys…these guys go the extra mile to make sure that every line is laugh out loud funny.
You would think with writing a parody of Star Wars these guys would have it made. The Kingdom though is right behind Al and the gang…and bounty hunters are about to show up.
Al Alone, the Princess, and the rest of the Rebels escape, stopping briefly for Al and the Princess to kiss–apparently she has a lizard tongue. They are heading to Dagoblah to meet Yoga, the last Jadis Master, so that Jean Luc can continue his training. Jean Luc and Ravi have a separate mission though. But the Kingdom has found their hideout and they must escape to continue the fight. Jean-Luc manages to use the power of “IT” to escape, but how can he make it back to the base in this cold? Luckily Al Alone comes by and rescues him. Jean-Luc is out scouting the terrain…and is abducted by an abominable snowman! Or a yeti. The Rebels have destroyed the Dread Castle and have now moved to the icy wastes of Hott to continue their fight. But the joy and celebration did not last long. I can’t wait to see where they take us in this issue and who else we meet (perhaps Yoda, hmmm?) When we last left our group of heroes Jean-Luc destroyed the Dread Castle with a well placed egg and the Rebels were celebrating victory. I’ve previously reviewed the first two issues and I’m delighted to be reading this third issue of six. It’s a perfect parody of Star Wars and has absolutely fantastic writing and art work.

We need to set up how the crossover happens first, but we’re doing our best to get this essential plot stuff published and out there quickly so we can move on to real “meat” of the story. I don’t want to get people’s hopes up too high, though, as crossover goodness many of you are looking for isn’t going to be in the prologue. So, now we’re officially in the prologue to Space Warped. Malezor got the lineart to me pretty quickly, and in turn it didn’t take me too long to get it colored. I had mentioned that this comic would move at a different pace than the ones I do solo, and here’s good evidence of that.
